RECENT Projects

The Hope Center for Families is a 28,000 square foot facility being built on the Harvard Campus of the Omega Baptist Church. The Center is a collaborative project designed to bring key partners together to reduce poverty in the northwest Dayton area through generational improvements in health, education, and workforce development. Partner/tenants that will be housed in the Center are Dayton Children’s Hospital, Mini University, Sinclair College and the Omega Community Development Corporation.

Gem City Market is a cooperative grocery store, located on the Salem Avenue corridor in West Dayton, whose mission is to serve, engage, and empower the neighborhood by providing affordable, high quality food in a clean and welcoming environment that is worker and community owned. The store also includes a teaching kitchen, nutrition classes and wellness programming, a mini-clinic, a cafe, and a community room.
