Wise Construction Company, Inc. is a full service General Contractor headquartered in northwest Dayton, Ohio. Wise specializes in new construction and major renovation of commercial, industrial and institutional buildings including healthcare and educational facilities. Founded by the late Warren C. Wise, the company has been actively involved in the Southwestern Ohio construction arena since 1983. Wise Construction Management, Ltd., was established in 2001 to fulfill the need for quality CM service providers to the (former) Ohio Schools Facilities Commission. Over the past decade, WCM has played an integral part in the completion of nine new or newly renovated, state-of-the-art educational facilities for our Dayton Public Schools through joint venture projects for the (now) Ohio Facilities Construction Commission. The success of these projects has resulted in WCM’s participation on the CM team for six upcoming Dayton Metro Library facilities.
Wise Services, Inc. is a small business contractor formed in 1993 to meet the construction labor needs of the operating contractor, at the Department of Energy's Fernald Closure Project. Wise Services worked at the Fernald site for fourteen years (1993-2006) contributing labor and management to the closure mission of the former nuclear weapons program site. WSI also completed a lab relocation project for Argonne National Laboratory at its Miamisburg, Ohio Mound facility.
In 2008, Wise expanded its operations to South Carolina when awarded a contract at the DOE's Savannah River Site with Shaw AREVA MOX Services. Though headquartered in Northwest Dayton, Ohio, Wise made a strong commitment to its SC operations by moving five members of its management staff to the Aiken area to oversee the work. In 2013, Wise was also awarded a contract to support the Decontamination and Decommissioning project at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, OH.
